They have closed 3 offices and made one so imagine that!! You have to take a day off work to handle ANY business down there. Its like the old DFCS packed to the walls and got to take a number just to ask a question. Prepare to stay all day.
Office full of Grinches, all employees are heartless and cold. Don't waste your time calling because no one answers no matter what time you call. They make everyone feel lower than dirt just because we're asking for help, if we didnt need it there's no way we would deal with all this bull.
It is a really nice new building and I definitely like how there is now a number system to get to speak to a person. A lot more staff too. The only challenging thing for me was there wasn't a lot of supervision in the kids only area. There was one mom on her cell phone...parents on behalf of those of us without kids - please watch them and ask them to be respectful of others. Some of us are there because of disabilities that they may not be able to see and it is loud enough in an office like that. But the staff was super helpful and friendly and I loved the new office.
New building and this place still SUCKS!!! You go in there and sit for hours just to go to the window for nothing. I filled out request for a supervisor call and no call yet. You call call call and only get the call center people to call u back. What’s the purpose of the new office if you still don’t do your job. Been trying to get my case fixed since AUGUST!!!! I even filed a claim against the office and still nothin yet. They should’ve stayed in the old build with the same old ways.
Lack of concern , not consistent with the information being provided. After requesting to speak with the supervisor in reference to information provided that was in accurate waited two hours no response from any supervisor. Filed a grievance with the state know your rights as a recipient!
