I used to work here a couple of years ago and things are mostly the same (good thing) but they had lots of extra ropes up that made it feel less open and welcoming than I remember. Everything was clean and the ticket greeter was friendly, so a good experience.
The movie theater staff were really accomadating. Like all movie theaters, the food was overpriced. The seats weren't the greatest, but considering how old this theater is, it's pretty excellent. Everyone who lives near the area, goes to this movie theater, as it is the most convenient one. The movie I saw was excellent. I have been going to this theater for years, and I'm bound to continue doing so for years to come.
The other -1 star is because the seats in the auditoriums are very old-fashioned & uncomfortable for the modern movie-viewing experience. AMCs are really stepping it up with the recliner seating all over but this place seems to be a bit behind. Will gladly update the stars as soon as I see these 2 issues being resolved.
The theater is great and very clean. All the entrance staff are very friendly & seem to enjoy their jobs, making coming to this place a pleasant initial experience.
Common areas, theatre & seats & restroom were clean. Was not cold! Popcorn was good. Paying cash so we stood in line to buy tickets, here that line is in the mall & out of the weather. The ticket booth girl was exceptionally friendly to one of the kids - in a nice way, not a creep way. If you are a "special" member, you get in the FAST LANE to buy tickets, which is good for them but we got bumped 2 people. However, there are also ticket kiosks. We went at a very slow time so this was not an ideal time to make a lot of comparisons. Matinee was $5.50 I believe.
However, the staff members that make the food are terrible. They work slowly & seem to not want to be there. They also seem very understaffed & don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
Your average AMC theater. Stadium seating. Lots of those touchscreen drink machines, they only backup on a really busy night. Self checkout kiosks outside the main entrance in a bank type setup, a bunch in a big circle. Pretty clean. Sometimes the ticket ripper area bogs down a bit.
-1 star for the food service
