I usually do not dress up. I dress very casual. I decided one day I felt like wearing dress and wanted to look nice. I wore some costume jewelry along with a simple blue dress. It was right above my knees and had two layers. A solid blue on the bottom with a lace fabric placed over it. Mind you this dress was not tight fit, or at all revealing. I was amazed of how many unwelcome, and dirty looks that SEVERAL women gave me there. They would not speak to me. I did not expect this type of behavior from a church. It was like walking down a hall of a swarm of "mean girls" I don't know if this is just the culture of this church. Maybe its more acceptable to dress down or casual there. Regardless it shouldn't matter. Just like any church remember they are still people and you need to guard your heart.
I love the house of prayer!!! It's another home for me. I have had amazing moments with God there, and I can remember nights where God just loved me and healed me from hurts. He is LOVE!!!! The house of prayer is a fire pit filled with passion for JESUS!!! Our DNA is JESUS and there isn't another thing to add but Jesus.
24 hour worship and prayer. How can you not love being in the life-changing Presence of God who dwells in the hearts of His people.
